Chapter 6

I am now free and drink victory gin in the chestnut tree cafe. Everything the party says true. 2 + 2 = 5. I see Julia occasionally, but I am not interested in continuing our relationship and neither is she. I find the thought of sex disgusting. I feel safe around the telescreens and Big Brother. I am glad that I have a found love for Big Brother.

Chapter 5

I was moved to room 101. The place that man so dreadfully feared. I was strapped into a chair and he brought out rats. O'Brien says that they will eat my face, and with that, I cracked.

Chapter 4

I was transferred to a more comfortable room. I gained some weight and was constantly dreaming. Mostly about Julia. I was also allowed to write on a slate. It was foolish of me to appose the party, I tried to believe in their teachings. I wrote their slogans on my slate in an attempt to convince myself their teaching are correct. I realized later I still deeply wanted to continue hating the party and screamed Julia's name as loud as possibly many time. I knew this would probably lead to torture, but I didn't care.

Chapter 3

After being tortured for weeks, O'Brien says that the Party’s only goal is absolute, endless, and limitless power. I believe that the party can not achieve this because they can not alter things such as space, the sky, and the stars. O'Brien argues and says the only thing that really matters in the human mind, which they already control. I later looked in a mirror and look old and sick. I cry and blame O'Brien for my state of condition. I am then overjoyed because O'Brien recognizes my strength because I have no turned Julia in yet. This made me happy until he stated that I would be cured but it doesn't really matter since I will end up being shot like everyone else.

Chapter 2

I was being tortured and was forced to believe whatever O'Brian told me was true. Even though O'Brien was holding up three fingers, I was forced to agree and believe he was holding up four. I began to love O'Brien because he made the pain stop. I am slowly beginning to accept O'Brien's versions of events. I asked about Julia and he told me that she betrayed me immediately. I am told that I do not even exist. I also learn that everyone knows what awaits in room 101.

Chapter 1

I am stuck in a room where people are constantly coming in and leaving. I don't know who these people are, maybe my mother? I hear about room 101. A man did everything he could to make sure he didn't go there. He flailed around and even betrayed his family. I am curious as to what is in room 101 and if I would betray Julia to make sure I don't go there. Suddenly, O'Brian walked in. I figured he got caught too. But I learned that he was a Ministry of Love operative.

Chapter 10

Today, Julia and I learned that Mr. Charrington was a member of the thought police. There was a telescreen behind a painting and troops from the party fled in to the room above the shop and caught us. They tortured Julia and while hearing her scream I became restraint and disoriented.
