Chapter 6
I am now free and drink victory gin in the chestnut tree cafe. Everything the party says true. 2 + 2 = 5. I see Julia occasionally, but I am not interested in continuing our relationship and neither is she. I find the thought of sex disgusting. I feel safe around the telescreens and Big Brother. I am glad that I have a found love for Big Brother.
Chapter 5
I was moved to room 101. The place that man so dreadfully feared. I was strapped into a chair and he brought out rats. O'Brien says that they will eat my face, and with that, I cracked.
Chapter 4
I was transferred to a more comfortable room. I gained some weight and was constantly dreaming. Mostly about Julia. I was also allowed to write on a slate. It was foolish of me to appose the party, I tried to believe in their teachings. I wrote their slogans on my slate in an attempt to convince myself their teaching are correct. I realized later I still deeply wanted to continue hating the party and screamed Julia's name as loud as possibly many time. I knew this would probably lead to torture, but I didn't care.
Chapter 3
After being tortured for weeks, O'Brien says that the Party’s only goal is absolute, endless, and limitless power. I believe that the party can not achieve this because they can not alter things such as space, the sky, and the stars. O'Brien argues and says the only thing that really matters in the human mind, which they already control. I later looked in a mirror and look old and sick. I cry and blame O'Brien for my state of condition. I am then overjoyed because O'Brien recognizes my strength because I have no turned Julia in yet. This made me happy until he stated that I would be cured but it doesn't really matter since I will end up being shot like everyone else.
Chapter 2
I was being tortured and was forced to believe whatever O'Brian told me was true. Even though O'Brien was holding up three fingers, I was forced to agree and believe he was holding up four. I began to love O'Brien because he made the pain stop. I am slowly beginning to accept O'Brien's versions of events. I asked about Julia and he told me that she betrayed me immediately. I am told that I do not even exist. I also learn that everyone knows what awaits in room 101.
Chapter 1
I am stuck in a room where people are constantly coming in and leaving. I don't know who these people are, maybe my mother? I hear about room 101. A man did everything he could to make sure he didn't go there. He flailed around and even betrayed his family. I am curious as to what is in room 101 and if I would betray Julia to make sure I don't go there. Suddenly, O'Brian walked in. I figured he got caught too. But I learned that he was a Ministry of Love operative.
Chapter 10
Today, Julia and I learned that Mr. Charrington was a member of the thought police. There was a telescreen behind a painting and troops from the party fled in to the room above the shop and caught us. They tortured Julia and while hearing her scream I became restraint and disoriented.
Chapter 9
During the exhaustion of Hate Week, a speaker announced among a crowd that the enemy had changed over to Eastasia. This obvious evidence of the party's control that people ignore. Later, I finally read Goldstein's book. It stated much information that I had already known or predicted, but it relieved me that my thoughts were all real. It explained the party's sayings and what they meant and I read the book to Julia and she enjoyed it as well. She fell asleep while I was reading and I stayed up a bit longer to continue learning but fell asleep a while later .
Chapter 8
Finally I get to meet O'Brian again. I brought Julia with me, even thought it was a big risk. While we were there, O'Brain turned off his telescreen but stated he couldn't keep it off for long. In our short time of privacy, he stated that the Brotherhood is strong and Goldstein is alive. He gave us Goldsteins book; a guide.
Chapter 7
I hate the party for taking away our ability to feel. I never once was able to show my mother love or appreciation for anything she did for me. I was a greedy child. Party member try to take away what is natural, what make people human. Because they do this, it makes them inhuman. Julia and I discussed what we would do if we were caught. We are sure we will eventually be discovered. We decided that we will confess to everything but will never stop loving each other.
Chapter 6
Today after talking with O'Brian about newspeak, he told me he wanted me to come over and have a copy of the newspeak dictionary. This excites me because it means that it is another encounter I get to have with O'Brian. Hopefully he knows how to become part of the Brotherhood. Once I am part of the Brotherhood, I will help strive for a better future without Big Brother.

Chapter 5
Syme had been vaporize. I was not surprised because I had predicted this a while ago. I could tell people were preparing for Hate Week because posters had been hung and children were singing a new hate song. Even thought Hate Week was nearing, all I could think of was the love of my life, Julia. Even thought Julia doesn't seem to care about my hate for the party and the feeling of connection I feel between O'brien and me I still hope Katherine dies so I can be with her.
Chapter 4
Julia and I got a room about Mr. Charrington. She had a surprise and told me to close my eyes. When she told me to look, I was surprised to see her with make up on and not naked. She looked like real women, she was beautiful. She also had a basket with food. Real foo, like coffee. While sitting content with everything that was going on I saw a rat. One of the few things I was deeply afraid. But with Julia there I was not as scared.
Chapter 3
After we woke up in the morning, we had to go back to our normal lives. We had to leave different ways and go back to the city in different routes. Julia is rebellious like I am. Although for a different reason. We have met more than once since then and we talk about our old lives. I told her about Katherine and how I had an opportunity to kill her, but didn't. I regret not killing her.
Chapter 2
I met the dark haired girl in the woods. I found her name was Julia. Such a beautiful name. Before I knew it, we were making love. It was just like my dreams and after we were finished we fell asleep among the nature around us.
Chapter 1
The dark haired girl I had wanted to kill slipped a note into my hand. She had done it in a tricky manor. She fell and I was debating whether to help her up or not but before I had made my decision she got up and claimed that she was fine. The note she slipped to me on my cubical said that she loved me. Later, we had lunch and she told me to meet her away from the telescreens in Victory Square alone.
Chapter 8
On my way home from the prole district, I saw the dark haired girl dressed in jeans. Why does she keep following me? Why can't she understand she needs to get out of my life? I had a sudden urge and feeling that I had to kill her with the paperweight that was in my pocket. I realized I could be giving away clues to the thought police and had to calm down or else they might catch me and kill me.
Chapter 7
A picture I found had a different date on it then written in history. This proved to me that the party lies and is dishonest. I hate the party. I believe and have faith in the proles. Also, I feel as if O'Brian is a part of me. He has the same thoughts as I do about the party and I hope he can read this diary and he can share our mutual feelings.
Chapter 6
Katherine left me when she found out we could not have children. This left me sex deprived. The last time I had had the pleasure of having sex was with a prostitute. Sex is hated where I live because it is one thing that the party has trouble controlling. Once they do control it, they plan only allowing it to reproduce.
Chapter 5
I ate lunch with Syme, a party member. We chatted as well. He discussed his job which is writing the newspeak dictionary. He seems to believe that in years from now the dictionary will only consist of one word. I find this idea confusing and unbelievable. Mrs. Parsons children will probably be vaporized by their own children someday. This idea occurred to me later in the day when they apologized to me. The dark haired lady passed me today and stares. I hate the dark haired lady.
Chapter 4
My job is terrible because it goes against everything I believe in. My job is to rewrite history. My job is to tell how Big Brother is right, and how he is never wrong. The most accurate a date can be is the year and month. Because if anymore accurate, people may start to wonder, or find out the truth. I am pretty sure I will be caught one day for my thought crimes by the thought police.
Chapter 3
Remembering the past in this world is basically impossible. All I can remember is now. I don't remember my parents or my childhood. I don't even know who I am. I wish I could remember. Oh how I long to know the past. How I wish I could remember my childhood. There has to be someone who can remember. Someone who knows what the world was like before the revolution...
Chapter 2
Mrs. Parsons needs me to fix her sink. She told me about her husband, I don't really care though. Her children are spies, that scares me. They could turn against me or their own parents and turn us in to the thought police. They are brats too. Seems as if no where I go is safe.

Chapter 1
A smell of cabbage filled Victory Mansions on a cold day. The poster of Big Brother was staring down at me. Oh, how I hate Big Brother and his teachings. The telescreens are always watching me, making it impossible to express me true thoughts in the real world without being caught and most likely killed. I am the only one that I know of that wonders about the past and what is was like.
