Chapter 9
During the exhaustion of Hate Week, a speaker announced among a crowd that the enemy had changed over to Eastasia. This obvious evidence of the party's control that people ignore. Later, I finally read Goldstein's book. It stated much information that I had already known or predicted, but it relieved me that my thoughts were all real. It explained the party's sayings and what they meant and I read the book to Julia and she enjoyed it as well. She fell asleep while I was reading and I stayed up a bit longer to continue learning but fell asleep a while later .
Chapter 8
Finally I get to meet O'Brian again. I brought Julia with me, even thought it was a big risk. While we were there, O'Brain turned off his telescreen but stated he couldn't keep it off for long. In our short time of privacy, he stated that the Brotherhood is strong and Goldstein is alive. He gave us Goldsteins book; a guide.
Chapter 7
I hate the party for taking away our ability to feel. I never once was able to show my mother love or appreciation for anything she did for me. I was a greedy child. Party member try to take away what is natural, what make people human. Because they do this, it makes them inhuman. Julia and I discussed what we would do if we were caught. We are sure we will eventually be discovered. We decided that we will confess to everything but will never stop loving each other.
Chapter 6
Today after talking with O'Brian about newspeak, he told me he wanted me to come over and have a copy of the newspeak dictionary. This excites me because it means that it is another encounter I get to have with O'Brian. Hopefully he knows how to become part of the Brotherhood. Once I am part of the Brotherhood, I will help strive for a better future without Big Brother.

Chapter 5
Syme had been vaporize. I was not surprised because I had predicted this a while ago. I could tell people were preparing for Hate Week because posters had been hung and children were singing a new hate song. Even thought Hate Week was nearing, all I could think of was the love of my life, Julia. Even thought Julia doesn't seem to care about my hate for the party and the feeling of connection I feel between O'brien and me I still hope Katherine dies so I can be with her.
Chapter 4
Julia and I got a room about Mr. Charrington. She had a surprise and told me to close my eyes. When she told me to look, I was surprised to see her with make up on and not naked. She looked like real women, she was beautiful. She also had a basket with food. Real foo, like coffee. While sitting content with everything that was going on I saw a rat. One of the few things I was deeply afraid. But with Julia there I was not as scared.
Chapter 3
After we woke up in the morning, we had to go back to our normal lives. We had to leave different ways and go back to the city in different routes. Julia is rebellious like I am. Although for a different reason. We have met more than once since then and we talk about our old lives. I told her about Katherine and how I had an opportunity to kill her, but didn't. I regret not killing her.
